Automation, this Fan Gate Trimmer cuts longer and
harder to cut Fan/Edge gates with +/- 0.4 mm
vestige tolerance. The parts are held firmly in
place by a custom designed part nest made to
contour the part, to hold it securely. The custom
blades assemblies are uniquely designed to contour
the part/gate interface.
Previously,
processors had to use labor intensive (manual)
processes to cut their long fan gates over 2 feet
in length. Pneumatic equipment is a lower cost
option and also easier to maintain versus
cumbersome hydraulic equipment.
